Check Out Flying Pie Pizza in Boise, Idaho

There’s just something about a truly good pizza. It can be the perfect way to end the day, with all the right tastes and scents. A quality pizza is a joy to consume.

The city of Boise is the largest urban area in the state of Idaho. There are a lot of things to do in Boise and it is quite the magnet for locals and travelers alike. From walking the Boise River Greenbelt to visiting the World Center for Birds of Prey, and everything in between, it is very easy to have a good time in Boise.

All that stuff is great, but when I rolled into town my main question was “How about some pizza?”. With a resounding “Yes!” we headed off in search of what we hoped was a good place. What we found was Flying Pie Pizza.

Flying Pie Pizza was colorful and inviting on the outside, but how did the pizza taste? Fantastic, that’s all I have to say!

Most cities have a pizza place and often adults can overlook it as a viable meal option. Usually though, pizza is fairly afordable and always great tasting. Plus, when it is exceptional, pizza is a joy for everyone.

That’s the kind of pizza we had at Flying Pie Pizzaria in Boise. It was awesome.

We make it to Boise periodically, but when we are abe to go out and have an outstanding meal at a place we’ve never been to before, that’s the mark of a good restaurant. We ordered a Fromage A Trois that day and covered it with extra cheese. Wel also had a garlic chicken pizza and it was peerless. These were can’t miss pizza pies, right there in Boise.

Try Michael D’s Eatery in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho For a Great Breakfast

There is no destination in the country quite like Coeur d’Alene. The city is small, which makes it very inviting. The city is also picturesque, situated on the shores of a large mountain lake and surrounded by thick forests. The city is also filled with great places to shop and eat.

Waking up in Coeur d’Alene left me in search of a great breakfast spot. There’s nothing quite like starting your day off with a great breakfast. I also, as usual, wanted that breakfast spot to be some kind of independently owned place that you wouldn’t necessarily find in another city.

As luck would have it, Coeur d’Alene has just that type of spot in Michael D’s Eatery.

Breakfast is good at Michael D’s, because it is a specialty there. You can also get lunch there, but they aren’t even open for dinner. My first time at Michael D’s saw me walk out with a full stomach thanks to ordering the Shameless omelette. The Shameless is ham, bacon, sausage, and three kinds of cheese; Swiss, cheddar, and jack. Wow. Good stuff.

I enjoyed Michael D’s Eatery so much that I went back on my second morning in Coeur d’Alene. Hey, I’m not the smartest guy in the world but I know when you find something good you stick with it. That time I wanted to try something on the sweet side, so I got the Waffle Combo. That was near perfect too.

I gotta say… if I had stayed in Coeur d’Alene another night… I probably would’ve had breakfast at Michael D’s Eatery one more time. I had kind of been eyeing the “Saratoga Scrambler”. I guess I’ll have to try that my next time in town.
